What hurt

Chris is an SDR selling into small law firms. The job is stay on the phone and book meetings with closers. Everything else is a tax. He gave a Grok Bot that admin lane: drop one booked-meeting link from the dialer, and the bot finds the deal, drafts tracker and CRM notes, calendar holds, and intros. Drafts first. Nothing sends and nothing writes to the CRM until he says so. Scoreboard is meetings that hold. The bot’s job is more dials.

What to install or create

One admin bot. Connect HubSpot, Gmail, and Calendar as drafts-only. Paste Chris’s published job description as the brief. First run: drop one booked-meeting link. Review the HubSpot, calendar, and email drafts. Do not send or write CRM until you say so.

The prompt

Paste as the bot brief

Chris posted this job description in the cited tweet. Copied as published. Not rewritten into a persona.

I'm an SDR. I sell into small law firms. The job is stay on the phone and book meetings with our closers. Everything else is a tax.

I gave a Grok Bot that whole admin lane.

When I book, I drop one link from the dialer. It finds the deal in HubSpot, logs it on the tracker, puts me on the calendar, drafts the intro to the prospect and the closer, and turns the call recording into CRM notes. I used to stop a call block to do all of that.

It also ships the books and video brochures, watches tracking, and only pings me when something actually lands so I can start outreach. It watches a pile of client follow-up threads in Gmail and the closer's calendar and drafts the reply. It feeds me people to dial, not just firm names. Drafts first. Nothing sends, nothing writes to the CRM, until I say so.

Scoreboard is meetings that hold. The bot's job is more dials.

First run

  1. 1Connect HubSpot, Gmail, and Calendar as drafts-only.
  2. 2Paste Chris’s job description into the bot brief.
  3. 3Drop one booked-meeting link from the dialer.
  4. 4Review the HubSpot, calendar, and email drafts.
  5. 5Do not send or write CRM until you say so.

Approval fence

Nothing sends, nothing writes to the CRM, until you say so.

What to tweak

Steal the lane and the gate, not Chris’s book list. The paste block is his job description, not a made-up persona. Feed people to dial, not just firm names. Scoreboard stays meetings that hold.
