Four marketing routines that draft only — never post

Marketing teams drown in scroll, sheet stitching, and competitor guesswork.

What hurt

Eric Siu (@ericosiu) shared four copy-paste Grok Bot routines for any marketing team: YouTube/X demand radar (Mon+Thu), Monday marketing report, competitor gap check (Tue), and X hiring scout (Fri). Every routine drafts to Slack and waits — no post, reply, like, follow, or DM until a human says yes. Not affiliated with xAI.

What to install or create

One marketing desk bot + browser/Slack/sheets as needed. Paste his four schedules. Keep every send behind approval.

Bots

  • Marketing desk

Runs the four routines. Drafts only. Never posts or DMs.

Routines

  • Demand radar. Mon+Thu 7:30am CT. Rank growing topics from your YouTube/X list; Slack draft only.

  • Monday marketing report. Mon 8am CT. Scoreboard + Analytics + Search Console under 150 words to Slack.

  • Competitor gap check. Tue 9am CT. Label create/update/consolidate/skip; no drafts until you pick.

  • X hiring scout. Fri 10am CT. Find builders showing work; never DM/follow/like/reply.

The prompt

YouTube/X demand radar (author-quoted)

Quoted from @ericosiu — as published. Do not invent a second system prompt.

Every Monday and Thursday at 7:30am CT, check the YouTube channels and X accounts in [your list] for posts about [your category] from the last 7 days. Rank the 5 topics where attention is growing fastest, and link the video or post behind each one. Flag any topic from your last list that has cooled off. For each topic, tell me whether we've already published on it and suggest one angle that fits [your offer] for [your buyer]. Send it to me in Slack as a draft. Do not post, reply, like or follow on X. If a source fails, name it and run the rest.

First run

  1. 1Read https://x.com/ericosiu/status/2109705695327133745 (credit @ericosiu).
  2. 2Paste Routine 1–4 from his post into your marketing bot (or create four routines).
  3. 3Fill the bracketed lists: channels, category, offer, buyer, sheet, competitor handles, open roles, ATS export.
  4. 4Confirm every routine ends in Slack draft — never live post or DM.
  5. 5Run one Monday dry pass and review the draft before enabling the schedule.

Approval fence

Do not post, reply, like, follow, or DM on X. Do not edit live campaigns without your yes.

What to tweak

Steal the four draft-only schedules. The fence is the product: draft → human → maybe send.
