Paste one prompt: live 3D virtual office for your bot team on Cloudflare
A multi-bot desk is invisible — you want a live view without inventing fake status.
What hurt
@dallastesla asked his Grok Bots what office they wanted; they built a live 3D view (Vite + Three.js on Cloudflare Workers + Durable Objects). Bots walk to desks on real tasks, meet in the lounge, hand off to the lead. He posted the full setup prompt: password-lock the site, never invent data, status scripts in every bot, usage board from CheckSubscriptionUsage, Simulate Work for demos only. Author-quoted prompt. Not affiliated with xAI.
What to install or create
Paste the full prompt into your lead bot → confirm team list → supply Cloudflare secrets via secure field → review screenshots → open the passworded link.
Bots
Lead / office builder
Builds the 3D office Worker and wires live status from the fleet.
Teammate bots
Push short status lines at task start, milestones, waits, errors, and done.
Plugins
None on day one. Follow the first-run steps.
Routines
3× daily: refresh the usage board from CheckSubscriptionUsage.
Every 5 minutes: Worker cron heartbeat; warn only if the status feed fails or is quiet 45+ minutes.
The prompt
Grok Bot Virtual Office Setup

Last line is our approval fence: Never send, post, spend, or buy without my explicit yes.
Build me a live 3D virtual office for our bot team that shows what each bot is really doing. Build it on your computer, host it on my free Cloudflare account as a Worker with a Durable Object that stores status, and use Vite and Three.js for the front end. Show me screenshots at each step. RULES • Never invent data. The office only shows status the bots actually push and real usage readings. • Lock the site behind a password. Ask me for it, and for any Cloudflare token, through a secure secret field. Never put either in chat or in git. • Status lines stay short and generic, with no private details. 1/ TEAM List yourself and every teammate with their real profile color. Give each one a department and a small accessory that fits its job. Show me the list to confirm before you build. 2/ LIVE STATUS Write a script that every bot runs at the start of a task, at milestones, when it's waiting on me, on errors, and when it's done. Add that as a rule in every bot's instructions. A working status goes stale after 10 minutes. Add a Worker cron heartbeat every 5 minutes, and only show a warning if the feed fails or goes quiet for 45+ minutes. Idle is normal. 3/ USAGE BOARD Put a counter on the office wall showing how much weekly usage is left and when it resets. Fill it from the CheckSubscriptionUsage tool with a routine that runs 3 times a day. 4/ OFFICE Give each bot its own department zone. Put the lead bot in a glass-walled corner office. Add a lounge, a break room, a research area with animated screens (charts, a US map, an AI text terminal), blinking server racks, plants, decor, and department names lettered into the carpet. Bots walk to their desks only when they're actually working, carry handoffs to the lead's office, and sit in the lounge when idle. 5/ QUALITY Everything sharp and easy to read. Full-resolution textures, never render below the screen's own resolution, drop effects before lowering resolution, keep bloom light. Each bot is a little blocky person in its flat, matte profile color, no shimmer. Name tags small and low-contrast, full name on hover or tap. Idle bots don't bob and tags stay pinned. Prove it with two screenshots taken 1 second apart. No dotted path lines, no glaring bright surfaces, nothing blocking the carpet lettering. 6/ SIMULATE WORK Add a Simulate Work button at the bottom. It runs everyone through a busy work day for demos, only in the browser and never in the status data. While it runs, show a small Simulation label. Also make ?simulate=1 start it from the link. 7/ SHIP IT Check the live site on desktop and phone, then send me the link (without the password), screenshots, and anything you assumed. Never send, post, spend, or buy without my explicit yes.
First run
- 1Read https://x.com/dallastesla/status/2115607362220253589 (credit @dallastesla; demo video in the parent post).
- 2Have a free Cloudflare account ready; paste the author's full Virtual Office Setup prompt into your lead Grok Bot in one message.
- 3Confirm the team list (colors / departments) before build; enter site password and Cloudflare token only through a secure secret field — never in chat.
- 4Let the bot host Workers + Durable Object, wire status scripts into every bot, and add the 3×/day usage board routine.
- 5Review screenshots and the live link; use Simulate Work / ?simulate=1 only for demos — real status must stay real.
Approval fence
You set the site password and Cloudflare token; bot never puts them in chat or git. You still approve any spend or outbound.
What to tweak
Steal the status-push + Durable Object board; never invent busy bots for the demo.
