Hand a skill thread to your bot: it checks GitHub and licenses, installs only the usable ones
Skill round-up threads tempt you to install everything, including ones you can't use commercially.
What hurt
Brian Hou (@lovehouye) handed a thread of '8 skills for making video with Claude' (curated by @Cryptoxorz) to his twin bot. It read the whole thread, checked each repo on GitHub and its license, picked 2 (xilo-opus-video, dashi-animationstyle), and skipped the one that forbids commercial use. Then it installed dependencies, did a test render, pulled frames to check, saved the result as a skill, and handed it to another bot to make videos. About 15 minutes; he said only a few sentences. What to install or create
Treat a skill list as candidates: license check, test render, frame check, then save one working skill and hand it to the bot that uses it.
Bots
Twin bot
Reads skill threads, vets licenses, installs and tests.
Video bot
Uses the saved skill to make videos.
Plugins
GitHub

Routines
None on the first run. Watch one manual pass first.
The prompt
This is a tip, not a pasteable system prompt. The author did not publish one. Follow the first-run steps.
First run
- 1Read https://x.com/lovehouye/status/2110524091912605756 (credit @lovehouye).
- 2Send your bot the skill round-up thread and say what you'll use the output for (e.g. commercial videos).
- 3Ask it to check each repo's license on GitHub and skip any that don't fit.
- 4Have it install the keepers, do one test render, and check a few frames.
- 5Save the working setup as a skill and hand it to the bot that will use it.
Approval fence
No paid installs or account sign-ups without your yes. Skip anything whose license doesn't fit your use.
What to tweak
Steal the vetting order: read → check license → install → test → save as skill → hand off.
