Tip only: map your iPhone Action button to your main bot and hand off work by voice

Typing out every handoff slows you down when you're away from a keyboard.

What hurt

Colin Singleton (@colinsinglxton) spent a morning on voice calls with his Chief of Staff bot, handing off work as they talked. The Action button tip came from a Grok Bot webinar. Not affiliated with xAI.

What to install or create

Call the bot instead of typing. During the call bots can act and message other bots, then send a summary. Mapping the Action button to the main bot makes the call one press away.

Bots

  • Chief of Staff

Takes voice handoffs and delegates to other bots.

Plugins

  • None on day one. Follow the first-run steps.

Routines

  • None on the first run. Watch one manual pass first.

The prompt

This is a tip, not a pasteable system prompt. The author did not publish one. Follow the first-run steps.

First run

  1. 1Read https://x.com/colinsinglxton/status/2108262248468582561 (credit @colinsinglxton).
  2. 2Set your iPhone Action button to open a call with your main bot.
  3. 3Hand off a few tasks out loud during the call.
  4. 4Check the summary it sends afterward.

Approval fence

Anything that sends, spends or posts should still wait for your approval, even if you said it out loud.

What to tweak

Read the summary after the call to catch anything misheard.
