Work
Thin screen before the worker: scope, duplicate, evidence packet
Multi-agent stacks fail when the first tool call starts from a messy inbox with no gate.
What hurt
ShareGrokBots (@ShareGrokBots) says most multi-agent stacks fail before the first tool call because they skip the gate. Before a worker acts, run a thin screen: (1) Is this in scope? (2) Do we already have this lead or draft? (3) What evidence must come back? Only then hand a bounded packet. Orchestrator routes; screener filters; worker executes; reviewer checks the receipt. What to install or create
Thin screen (scope / dupe / evidence) → bounded packet → worker → receipt review.
Bots
Screener
Answer scope / duplicate / required evidence before any worker tool call.
Worker
Execute only bounded packets from the screener.
Reviewer
Check the receipt against the evidence required in the packet.
Plugins
None on day one. Follow the first-run steps.
Files
Bounded packet template: scope yes/no, duplicate check, evidence required, owner.
Routines
None on the first run. Watch one manual pass first.
The prompt
This is a tip, not a pasteable system prompt. The author did not publish one. Follow the first-run steps.
First run
- 1Read https://x.com/ShareGrokBots/status/2104302841623969814 for the thin-screen tip.
- 2Before any worker tool call, answer: in scope? already have this lead/draft? what evidence must come back?
- 3Only then hand a bounded packet (owner + status + evidence required).
- 4Let the worker run; reviewer checks the receipt against the packet.
- 5If the inbox is messy, put the screener in front of every worker — do not skip the gate.
Approval fence
Workers only get packets that already passed the screen; irreversible sends stay gated.
What to tweak
Steal the three-question screen. If the bot starts from a messy inbox, add the screen first.
