Road trip: Grok Project as brain, Bot as admin bag-carrier
11 days, 3 states, 40 tabs. Project holds the trip; Bot handles hotels, calendar, receipts.
What hurt
Matthew Paczkowski (@matthewpaco) and a partner did an 11-day US road trip across 3 states. A Grok Project was the trip brain; Grok Bot handled admin: itinerary, hotels, car rental, calendar, receipts, running expense tracker, even a glovebox driver card for US speeds/pullovers. When the car got a scratch, paperwork/photos/return receipt were already in the project — claim in minutes. Tip only — no invented prompt. Not affiliated with xAI.
What to install or create

The prompt
This is a tip, not a pasteable system prompt. The author did not publish one. Follow the first-run steps.
First run
- 1Read https://x.com/matthewpaco/status/2101808453081522676.
- 2Create a Grok Project as the trip brain. Attach a Bot for admin chores.
- 3Feed bookings, calendar, and receipts into one place as you go.
- 4Approve every book/pay. Keep claim docs in the same project.
Approval fence
Do not book, pay, email hotels, or file claims without your yes.
What to tweak
Steal Project-brain + Bot-admin. Carry the bag so you keep the memories.
