Grok Bot + Muse talk through one shared Google Doc

Two assistants that can’t talk force you to repeat yourself every switch.

What hurt

@AchievedInc runs Grok Bot as chief of staff and Muse as backup. Fix: one shared Google Doc as the connector — dated entries, QUESTION FOR / DONE markers, no secrets — both check it and do a handoff so ownership doesn’t double. Tip only. Not affiliated with xAI.

What to install or create

Create Doc → grant both Drive access → paste rules → tell each to check → run one handoff pass.

Bots

  • Grok Bot chief of staff

Primary desk; writes handoffs into a shared Google Doc.

  • Muse backup

Backup desk; reads the same Doc and picks up when Grok is capped.

Plugins

  • None on day one. Follow the first-run steps.

Routines

  • None on the first run. Watch one manual pass first.

The prompt

This is a tip, not a pasteable system prompt. The author did not publish one. Follow the first-run steps.

First run

  1. 1Read https://x.com/AchievedInc/status/2115234333589905665 (credit @AchievedInc).
  2. 2Create one Google Doc (e.g. “Assistant A and Assistant B Connector”) and give both assistants Drive access.
  3. 3Put rules at the top: new entries at the bottom; each starts with date/time/who; mark QUESTION FOR <name>; mark answers DONE; never put passwords, cards, or PINs.
  4. 4Tell each assistant the Doc exists and to check it.
  5. 5Have them do one handoff listing what each owns so nothing is done twice; you still approve sends/pays.

Approval fence

No passwords/cards/PINs in the Doc; you still own sends and spends.

What to tweak

Steal the shared-Doc connector rules; no fancy integration required.
