Monday fleet coach: one bot reviews the other twenty

Twenty-plus bots drift without shared standards and a weekly pass.

What hurt

Amina Guleid (@GuleidAmina) runs 20+ Grok bots across volunteer, consultancy, fundraising, research, and home. She built Grok Bot Coach (public v9): every Monday it reviews the fleet and sends each suggested fix to the bot concerned — that bot asks her before changing anything. Principles: concrete jobs over blank interviews, strip names/IDs from templates, one bot owns the daily brief so credits are not eaten by overlapping digests. Not affiliated with xAI.

What to install or create

Optional: open her public Coach share if linked in the post. Or build one Monday coach that only proposes; each target bot asks before applying.

Bots

  • Fleet coach

Monday review only. Proposes fixes; never applies them itself.

Plugins

  • None on day one. Follow the first-run steps.

Routines

  • Monday fleet review. Every Monday. Propose concrete job/routine fixes to each bot; wait for human yes.

The prompt

This is a tip, not a pasteable system prompt. The author did not publish one. Follow the first-run steps.

First run

  1. 1Read https://x.com/GuleidAmina/status/2109559612340895855 (credit @GuleidAmina).
  2. 2Inventory your bots and pick one coach (or her public v9 if you open the share).
  3. 3Schedule a Monday pass that writes suggested fixes per bot.
  4. 4Require each target bot to ask you before applying any change.
  5. 5Collapse overlapping digests into one brief owner; strip personal IDs from shareable templates.

Approval fence

No bot may change another bot's job or routines without your yes.

What to tweak

Steal the Monday propose→ask→apply loop. One brief owner beats five morning digests.
