When something won't install: error text, your version, the version it wants
Pasting just the error gets you generic troubleshooting.
What hurt
@ShareGrokBots shared a debugging tip (credit to @productive_will's fix): give the bot three facts, the exact error, the version you have, and the version the app wants. In their example the app needed 0.75 but the package was stuck on 0.72, and the bot spotted an outdated install recipe rather than a broken app. Not affiliated with xAI.
What to install or create
Error + have + want → targeted fix → one-sentence explanation to save.

The prompt
This is a tip, not a pasteable system prompt. The author did not publish one. Follow the first-run steps.
First run
- 1Read https://x.com/ShareGrokBots/status/2113043011806314668 (credit @ShareGrokBots).
- 2Copy the exact error text.
- 3Find the version you have and the version the app asks for.
- 4Send: the error, then 'I have X, it wants Y, what changed?'
- 5Ask for the fix in one sentence and save it for next time.
What to tweak
Steal the line 'I have X, it wants Y, what changed?'
