One eng bot routes voice braindumps into the right Cursor project + /poteto-mode

Big workstreams sprawl across repos; braindumps never land in the right Cursor project.

What hurt

Vincent (@vinvan) keeps a Cursor project per big workstream (MCP, bugs, …), spins cloud agents with /poteto-mode, and runs one Grok Bot eng bot whose sole job is routing requests to the right project. He voice-calls the primary bot, braindumps tasks, and they land as PRs in the correct projects — projects + pstack benefits without thinking about routing. Not affiliated with xAI.

What to install or create

One project per workstream + /poteto-mode cloud agents + one routing eng bot + voice braindump.

Bots

  • Eng router

Routes tasks to the right Cursor project / workstream.

Plugins

  • GitHub

    Optional

Routines

  • None on the first run. Watch one manual pass first.

The prompt

This is a tip, not a pasteable system prompt. The author did not publish one. Follow the first-run steps.

First run

  1. 1Read https://x.com/vinvan/status/2110522022518272290 (credit @vinvan).
  2. 2Create a Cursor project for each big workstream you care about.
  3. 3Ensure those projects launch cloud agents with /poteto-mode (or your team's equivalent).
  4. 4Make one Grok Bot whose only job is routing requests to the right project.
  5. 5Voice-call your primary bot, braindump tasks, and review the PRs that land.

Approval fence

PRs can open automatically if you allow it; merges wait for your review.

What to tweak

Steal the routing bot and the one-project-per-workstream rule.
