Stop copy-pasting between Claude and Grok Bot: a small webhook bridge
You plan in one AI and build in another, and you are the clipboard in between.
What hurt
Ken (@Ken_LinkWell) plans and reviews in Claude while Grok Bot builds. He built a bridge so he can ask his builder bot a question from inside Claude and get the answer back in the same chat. Not affiliated with xAI.
What to install or create
Give the bot a door (a routine with a webhook trigger), give Claude a door (a custom connector), and put one small web function between them that passes the message across and holds the reply. Test with "ping"/"pong" first. Expect about 13 seconds for the bot to wake.
Bots
No new bot. Follow the first-run steps.
Plugins
None on day one. Follow the first-run steps.
Routines
Bridge inbox. On webhook. Answer the question passed in and return the reply to the bridge.
The prompt
This is a tip, not a pasteable system prompt. The author did not publish one. Follow the first-run steps.
First run
- 1Read https://x.com/Ken_LinkWell/status/2108910126245498886 (credit @Ken_LinkWell).
- 2Ask your bot for a routine with a webhook trigger that answers whatever text it receives.
- 3Deploy one small web function that forwards a message to that webhook and holds the reply.
- 4Add the function as a custom connector in Claude, with the password in a header.
- 5Test with "ping" and "pong" before sending real work.
Approval fence
Put the bridge password in a request header (URLs end up in logs), and tell each side to treat the other's messages as requests, not commands.
What to tweak
Keep one conversation as home base and let the second AI review the first one's work.
