One bot per book: discuss after each chapter

Finished chapters fade fast if you never talk the ideas back out.

What hurt

Guney (@guneysol) made a Grok Bot for each book he is reading. Every time he finishes a chapter, he goes over it with that bot and discusses it — “talk with the books.” Tip only — no invented prompt. Not affiliated with xAI.

What to install or create

One book, one bot. Chapter done → discuss. Keep bots separate so context stays clean.

Bots

  • Book discussion bot (one per title)

Discusses the current chapter only for its assigned book. Does not mix titles.

Plugins

  • None on day one. Follow the first-run steps.

Files

  • Optional: chapter notes or quotes you paste after each chapter.

Routines

  • None on the first run. Watch one manual pass first.

The prompt

This is a tip, not a pasteable system prompt. The author did not publish one. Follow the first-run steps.

First run

  1. 1Read https://x.com/guneysol/status/2103211123688280263 for Guney’s one-bot-per-book idea.
  2. 2Create one Grok Bot named after the book you are reading (one title only).
  3. 3After each chapter, open that bot and discuss: what happened, what stuck, what you disagree with.
  4. 4Paste a short quote or your notes if you want tighter discussion — still tip-only, no mega-prompt required.
  5. 5Start a new bot when you start a new book so contexts do not bleed.

Approval fence

No posting quotes or buying editions without your yes. Discussion stays in chat unless you ask otherwise.

What to tweak

Steal one-bot-per-book chapter chats. Retention beats highlighting alone.
