Grok Bot gathers clips and GIFs; you only shoot

AI news moves faster than a solo editor can cut.

What hurt

Penny777 (@penny777) posted her same-day AI news video pipeline after GPT-6 Astra dropped: (1) Grok Bot collects materials, cuts official video, makes GIFs; (2) ChatGPT and Claude write script; (3) scripts go back to Grok Bot to order assets and write the edit prompt; (4) ChatCut + Claude API cut via that prompt; (5) ChatCut SFX; (6) MiniMax Music (or Suno) for BGM. She only needed to shoot — the painful part was phones, AirDrop, and bad cafe Wi-Fi, not the models. Author-numbered steps.

What to install or create

Grok Bot as gather + GIF + edit-prompt desk. Outside tools for script, cut, SFX, BGM. You shoot and publish.

Bots

  • Clip Desk

Collect official launch clips, trim, make GIFs, then after you paste the script: order assets and write the edit prompt for ChatCut. Stop before publish.

Plugins

  • Browser

    Required

Files

  • A folder for official source clips + your phone footage.

Routines

  • None on the first run. Watch one manual pass first.

The prompt

This is a tip, not a pasteable system prompt. The author did not publish one. Follow the first-run steps.

First run

  1. 1Read her numbered list at https://x.com/penny777/status/2096033814766383551.
  2. 2Create Clip Desk. Ask it to collect materials, trim official video, and generate GIFs for one news item.
  3. 3Draft the script in ChatGPT or Claude (her split). Paste it back to Clip Desk to order assets and write the ChatCut edit prompt.
  4. 4Cut in ChatCut (she used Claude API there), add SFX, generate BGM in MiniMax Music or Suno.
  5. 5You shoot the talking-head bits and publish. Pre-download before bad Wi-Fi — she burned an hour on that.

Approval fence

Do not publish, buy stock, or spend on music APIs without your yes.

What to tweak

Steal her numbered split: Bot on assets and edit prompts, human on camera.
