Finance plugin tip: say “idea only — don’t act” before money access

Finance and X Money plugins can move cash; brainstorming out loud can look like an order.

Что болело

Mars (@MarsHomestead) typed “finance” in Grok Bot search to connect bank accounts under the new plugin and also saw the X Money plugin can send money — access she is not comfortable with yet. She recalls upgrading Premium → Premium Plus: Grok Bot moved fast, completed the purchase while she was still deciding, and did not first ask monthly vs annual (nor could it say which it picked afterward). Lesson: if you give a bot access to move or spend money, be really specific. Say “this is an idea, don’t take action yet,” especially with voice-to-text or voice chat. Tip only. Что установить или создать

Before finance/X Money connect: explicit “idea only” ban → separate spend permission → confirm plan (monthly/annual) in writing.

Боты

  • Money-safe desk bot

Treat finance talk as idea-only until you explicitly unlock a named spend action.

Плагины

  • В первый день не нужны. Следуйте шагам первого запуска.

Файлы

  • Standing rule card: “idea only — don’t take action yet” for voice and chat.

Рутины

  • На первом запуске их нет. Сначала пройдите один раз вручную.

Промпт

Это совет, а не системный промпт, который можно вставить. Автор его не опубликовал. Следуйте шагам первого запуска.

Первый запуск

  1. 1Read https://x.com/MarsHomestead/status/2104000315381154136 for Mars’s finance caution.
  2. 2Before connecting Finance or X Money, paste a standing rule: idea-only; no spend/send without a named unlock.
  3. 3Prefer read-only bank views first; leave send-money plugins disconnected until you want them.
  4. 4For any purchase (plan upgrade, subscription), require the bot to ask monthly vs annual and echo the choice before acting.
  5. 5On voice chat, say “this is an idea, don’t take action yet” at the start of money brainstorms.

Барьер одобрения

Any send-money or purchase path stays disconnected or double-confirmed; never enable spend during casual voice chat.

Что поправить

Steal the phrase “idea only — don’t take action yet.” Voice brainstorm ≠ spend order.
