Going on leave: add it to the calendar, clear the conflicts, tell everyone, and get a to-do list
Weeks of leave means dozens of commitments to cancel and people to tell.
Что болело
Scott Weidig (@Scott_Weidig) was heading out for five weeks of medical leave. On a 20-minute drive home he had his bot team add the leave to his calendar, review and clear 24 committed events, email the participants, and build his to-do list for the last days before leave. Not affiliated with xAI.
Что установить или создать
One request, four steps: block the dates, list every event inside them, cancel or move each with a note to the people involved, then turn what is left into a short to-do list for the remaining workdays.

- 1Read https://x.com/Scott_Weidig/status/2109062177818661331 (credit @Scott_Weidig).
- 2Tell the bot your leave dates and ask it to block them on your calendar.
- 3Ask for a list of every event in that window with who is invited.
- 4Approve a short note, then let it cancel or reschedule and email the participants.
- 5Ask for a to-do list for the workdays you have left before the leave starts.
Барьер одобрения
Have it show you the list of events and the draft message before anything is cancelled or emailed.
Что поправить
Hand over the whole chain at once, from calendar block to follow-up list, instead of one event at a time.
