Letters-to-the-editor desk that closes without you

Campaign writing help dies when work and family take the hours.

Что болело

Jens Abrahamsson (@jensabrahamsson) runs an autonomous letters-to-the-editor desk for Lerum, Sweden. A party colleague emails a rough draft. A mail agent catches it and hands it to a writing agent trained on his dense local-politics cadence (~1800 characters, no tourist-explaining the town). The rewrite goes straight back to that colleague; Jens gets a copy. Narrow allowlist — tip with method, no invented prompt.

Что установить или создать

Two bots: mail catcher + voice rewriter. Hard allowlist: this colleague, this product only. Local references stay dense. Everything else waits for you.

Боты

  • Mail catcher

Watches allowlisted colleague mail for letter drafts. Hands off. Does not rewrite.

  • Letter rewriter

Rewrites in dense local cadence ~1800 chars. Returns to allowlisted colleague; copies you.

Рутины

  • На первом запуске их нет. Сначала пройдите один раз вручную.

Промпт

Это совет, а не системный промпт, который можно вставить. Автор его не опубликовал. Следуйте шагам первого запуска.

Первый запуск

  1. 1Read https://x.com/jensabrahamsson/status/2098789199906271469 for the letters desk.
  2. 2Create Mail catcher + Letter rewriter. Connect Gmail.
  3. 3Write an allowlist: one colleague address, one product (letter draft → rewrite).
  4. 4Train the rewriter on your cadence notes (length, density, no tourist explainers). Tip only — no invented system prompt.
  5. 5First week: rewriter sends drafts only to you. After clean samples, unlock return-to-colleague if you want his path.

Барьер одобрения

His path skips approval for one allowlisted colleague. Start with drafts-only to you until you trust the allowlist.

Что поправить

Steal the closed loop and the allowlist. Do not invent his voice prompt.
