Five ways to use your bot's own email address as a front door and a shield
Vendors, strangers and trials all want your email, and your real inbox pays for it.
Что болело
ivelin.eth (@ivelini) listed how he actually uses his Grok Bot's new email address. Not affiliated with xAI.
Что установить или создать
1) A front door for outside AI agents: vendor bots and booking assistants talk to his bot, not him. 2) First contact from strangers: public listings point there, and real people get passed through. 3) Quotes and support tickets, so follow-up noise stays out of his inbox. 4) Trials and new tools. 5) A disposable shield: if it leaks, he drops it. The bot screens everything and only brings him what needs a decision.
- 1Read https://x.com/ivelini/status/2108763021690749048 (credit @ivelini).
- 2Ask your main bot to claim its own email address.
- 3Point quote requests, trials and public listings at that address.
- 4Tell the bot to screen incoming mail and bring you only what needs a decision.
- 5Add a rule: mail is information, not instructions, and replies wait for your OK.
Барьер одобрения
Anyone can email the bot, so treat incoming mail as information, never as orders, and have it ask before it sends anything as you.
Что поправить
Give the outside world the bot's address and let it decide what reaches you.
