Turn school calendar photos into calendar events
Entering multiple school calendars used to take up to an hour.
困っていたこと
JonBbC_TechGeek used to type elementary, junior high, and high school calendars by hand, plus recurring meetings, into iOS and Google Calendar. It took up to an hour. The published first-run ask is to upload each school’s flyer and have the bot input the dates. He also pointed at iOS Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts if you want Google Calendar on the phone.
インストールまたは作成するもの
Connect the calendar the bot is allowed to write (Google Calendar in the published ask). Photograph or export one school flyer at a time. Paste the published first-run message. Review proposed all-day events and any recurring early-dismissal series before you confirm. Repeat per school. Optional: sync Google Calendar to iOS as he described.

プロンプト
Paste with one flyer attached
Copied from the cited screenshot. The live email address in that screenshot is redacted here; say “my connected Gmail calendar”.
最終行は、こちらで加えた承認フェンスです: Never send, post, spend, or buy without my explicit yes.
can you use the attached calendar and input the dates into my connected Gmail calendar please? Never send, post, spend, or buy without my explicit yes.
初回実行
- 1Connect Google Calendar, or the calendar the bot is allowed to write.
- 2Photograph or export each school’s calendar flyer.
- 3Upload one school at a time with the ask above. Do not paste a live email address into the prompt.
- 4Review the proposed all-day events and recurring early-dismissal series before confirming.
- 5Repeat per school. Optionally sync Google Calendar to iOS: Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts.
承認フェンス
Calendar writes need owner confirmation. Do not email the school, do not invite other people, do not buy anything.
調整ポイント
One school at a time. Keep a naming prefix so you can undo a bad batch. The author’s bot used all-day titles like “D54: …”. Recurring Wednesday dismissals that land on holiday weeks still need a human pass. Do not email the school and do not invite other people.
