Finance plugin tip: say “idea only — don’t act” before money access
Finance and X Money plugins can move cash; brainstorming out loud can look like an order.
困っていたこと
Mars (@MarsHomestead) typed “finance” in Grok Bot search to connect bank accounts under the new plugin and also saw the X Money plugin can send money — access she is not comfortable with yet. She recalls upgrading Premium → Premium Plus: Grok Bot moved fast, completed the purchase while she was still deciding, and did not first ask monthly vs annual (nor could it say which it picked afterward). Lesson: if you give a bot access to move or spend money, be really specific. Say “this is an idea, don’t take action yet,” especially with voice-to-text or voice chat. Tip only. インストールまたは作成するもの
Before finance/X Money connect: explicit “idea only” ban → separate spend permission → confirm plan (monthly/annual) in writing.

Treat finance talk as idea-only until you explicitly unlock a named spend action.

初回実行
- 1Read https://x.com/MarsHomestead/status/2104000315381154136 for Mars’s finance caution.
- 2Before connecting Finance or X Money, paste a standing rule: idea-only; no spend/send without a named unlock.
- 3Prefer read-only bank views first; leave send-money plugins disconnected until you want them.
- 4For any purchase (plan upgrade, subscription), require the bot to ask monthly vs annual and echo the choice before acting.
- 5On voice chat, say “this is an idea, don’t take action yet” at the start of money brainstorms.
承認フェンス
Any send-money or purchase path stays disconnected or double-confirmed; never enable spend during casual voice chat.
調整ポイント
Steal the phrase “idea only — don’t take action yet.” Voice brainstorm ≠ spend order.
