A TV recommendation bot built from your own ratings of a best-of list
Picking the next show for two people means scrolling forever and arguing.
Qué dolía
Filipe Névola (@FilipeNevola) took the NYT list of the 100 best TV shows of the century, recorded which ones he and his wife watched and how they rated them, and made a bot called Series Nerd that recommends what they'll like. Not affiliated with xAI.
Qué instalar o crear
Start from a published best-of list, mark what you've watched and your ratings, and keep that file where the bot can read it (he keeps it in a personal repo). Add more shows over time; the more ratings, the better the recommendations.

- 2Grab a best-of list you trust as a starting set.
- 3Mark what each of you watched and rate it, in a file the bot can read.
- 4Make a bot whose only job is recommending from those ratings.
- 5Keep adding shows you remember or finish so the picks improve.
