A 10-minute yard-sale morning: route map, resale picks, then a shop to sell them
Finding every yard sale nearby and planning a route takes longer than the drive.
نقطة الألم
Mike P (@mikepat711) ran a three-prompt chain on a Saturday morning. Not affiliated with xAI.
ماذا تثبّت أو تنشئ
The first prompt found every yard sale within 15 miles and produced an HTML file with a map of the most efficient route, links to each listing, coffee stops and a Google Maps link with every stop. The second listed items that commonly resell for good margins. The third built a Shopify-based website to sell finds.

النص التوجيهي
His three prompts (author-quoted)
Quoted from @mikepat711 — as published. Do not invent a second system prompt.
"Hey Grok, make me a yard sale route including stops within a 15 mile radius of my home." "Thanks. Now recommend some decent items commonly found at yardsales that resell for good margins online" "Awesome. If we find stuff, we're going to need to sell it. make me an entire website using Shopify as the engine."
التشغيل الأول
- 1Read https://x.com/mikepat711/status/2108706504962433347 (credit @mikepat711).
- 2Ask for a yard-sale route within your radius as an HTML map with a Google Maps link.
- 3Ask which commonly found items resell well.
- 4Only if you want to sell, ask for a store draft and approve before anything goes live.
حاجز الموافقة
Launching a store or paying for anything should wait for your approval.
ما الذي تعدّله
Chain the prompts: route, then what to look for, then where to sell.
