Slack team engineer Bot that manages Cursor cloud Projects
You want coding help from Slack without turning the Bot into the coder itself.
نقطة الألم
lauren (@poteto) shared a favorite use case after Grok Bot gained stronger Cursor handoffs: create a new team engineer Bot and add it to Slack; @ the Bot whenever you want coding work; tell it to create new Projects to group related cloud agents into one conversation. Cloud agents can use any model available on Cursor and each has its own computer, so the Bot stays a manager instead of writing the code itself. Tip with author-published steps. ماذا تثبّت أو تنشئ
Team engineer Bot in Slack → @ for coding work → Cursor cloud agents / Projects → Bot manages, agents code.

النص التوجيهي
هذه نصيحة، وليست نصًا توجيهيًا للنظام يمكن لصقه. لم ينشر المؤلف نصًا. اتبع خطوات التشغيل الأول.
التشغيل الأول
- 1Read https://x.com/poteto/status/2105377066942349794 (credit @poteto).
- 2Create a new team engineer Bot and add it to your Slack workspace where teammates can @ it.
- 3When you need coding work, @ the Bot with the task; ask it to hand off to Cursor cloud agents instead of writing everything itself.
- 4Tell it to create a Project when several related agents should share one conversation.
- 5Keep merge/deploy/spend as your decisions; use videos or PR links the Bot shares as the progress trail.
حاجز الموافقة
PR merges, deploys, and spend stay human-approved; the Bot may open work and share demos, not ship alone.
ما الذي تعدّله
Steal manager-vs-coder: Bot routes from Slack; cloud agents own the computers and models.
