Daily X scan for new open-source projects, filter, then one-tap submit
Directories that track new open-source projects get late when discovery still lives on X.
نقطة الألم
Fox (@indie_maker_fox) runs OpenFree and needs a steady stream of fresh open-source projects that often show up on X first. A Grok Bot routine scans popular open-source chatter on X every day, posts a shortlist into the bot chat, runs one filter pass, then one-tap submits keepers to the OpenFree backend. Cloudflare workflows parse each project and notify Fox, who decides what goes live. Discovery to listing is automated; publish stays human. Not affiliated with xAI.

- 1Read https://x.com/indie_maker_fox/status/2110884181593239751 (credit @indie_maker_fox).
- 2Connect X (and any catalog/admin login) the bot needs.
- 3Ask for a daily routine: scan popular OSS posts, shortlist in chat, filter once, then submit.
- 4Wire the submit step to your backend or form; keep publish as a human gate.
- 5Tune the filter after a few days so noise stays out of the shortlist.
حاجز الموافقة
Backend submits can be automated; going live on the site waits for your yes.
ما الذي تعدّله
Steal the filter-before-submit and keep the publish button on yourself.
