Tip only: Apple/iCloud mail, calendar, contacts via app-specific password
You want Apple mail/calendar/contacts on Grok Bot without a native iCloud connector.
نقطة الألم
He Chen (@hechen) posted a crisp tip: for Grok Bot users connecting Apple/iCloud mail, calendar, and/or contacts, set up an Apple app-specific password. He notes it does not work for Notes, Reminders, Photos, or iCloud Drive. Tip only — points to Apple Support. Not affiliated with xAI.
ماذا تثبّت أو تنشئ
Create an Apple Account app-specific password, then use it where Grok Bot asks for iCloud mail/calendar/contacts credentials. Keep Notes/Reminders on another path (e.g. Mac local skill).

التشغيل الأول
- 1Read https://x.com/hechen/status/2106531569993425271 (credit @hechen).
- 2Follow Apple Support: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102654 — create an app-specific password for your Apple Account.
- 3In Grok Bot, connect Apple/iCloud mail, calendar, and/or contacts using that password where credentials are requested.
- 4Do not expect Notes, Reminders, Photos, or iCloud Drive to work this way — use a Mac local skill or other path for those.
- 5Store/revoke the password deliberately; rotate it if you share or retire the bot seat.
حاجز الموافقة
Treat the app-specific password like a secret. Revoke it in Apple ID settings if the bot should lose access.
ما الذي تعدّله
Steal the boundary: app-specific password covers mail/calendar/contacts — not Notes, Reminders, Photos, or Drive.
