Franchise shift emails → folder → shared family calendar
Shift-change emails pile up and the whole family loses track of who works when.
نقطة الألم
OrderOfMentats (@OrderOfMentats) set up a Grok Bot for a daughter who works at a franchise restaurant: hours jump around and every change fires another email — sometimes dozens. The bot reads each shift email, files it into a separate folder, and syncs the schedule onto a shared family calendar. It runs daily. Tip only. Not affiliated with xAI.

النص التوجيهي
هذه نصيحة، وليست نصًا توجيهيًا للنظام يمكن لصقه. لم ينشر المؤلف نصًا. اتبع خطوات التشغيل الأول.
التشغيل الأول
- 1Read https://x.com/OrderOfMentats/status/2104694309111169437 for the family shift tip.
- 2Connect Gmail (or the inbox that receives franchise shift emails) and a shared family calendar.
- 3Create a dedicated folder for shift updates so the main inbox stays clean.
- 4Instruct the bot: for each shift email → file it → upsert events on the shared calendar.
- 5Schedule a daily run; do not let the bot email the employer or change shifts.
حاجز الموافقة
Calendar writes are fine for family visibility; do not auto-reply to the employer or change shifts.
ما الذي تعدّله
Steal “file the chaos, sync one shared calendar.” Normie desk, clear win.
